Unsung Hero

The Dr. Michael W. Wesley, Sr. Story, Unsung Hero is a story of an extraordinary individual who uses each day to challenge limitations, inspire change, and illuminate the path forward for thousands. He is a pastor, an educator, an influencer who used the incredible power of vision to see what others couldn't see beyond walls. In the process, he was able to break through barriers and build one of the largest churches in Birmingham, Alabama, also revitalized a community. In a city, that had a checkered past, our protagonist continues to redefine what's possible, proving that true leadership isn't about position but about purpose. Dr. Wesley never sought the spotlight and his humble beginnings helps others to understand that beginnings don't determine ultimate destiny. Faith in God does. A willingness to trust God with all of one's heart and to lean not to one's own understanding; but in all of one's ways, if they are willing to acknowledge Him, God will direct one's paths. There are many people who desire to talk others out of going for their big dreams. But when God drops a vision in one's heart, he drops it because He wants it fulfilled. Therefore, it does not matter what the obstacles, or the challenges, individuals can be overcomers and more than conquerors through Jesus Christ. The real hero of our story.
