Warning for a Werewolf

Clementine is searching for a healer, her brother, and a way to protect her hometown. She is not searching for a grumpy werewolf bartender.

Clem left the magical town of Folk Haven when she was eighteen and hasn't been back since. As a mermaid, living among humans, building a new life was a lonely struggle, but she's managed. That is until the night a hunter finds her and leaves her injured. Worried for herself and the mythical creatures she grew up with, Clem and her dog take a hasty road trip to the place she used to call home. Bleeding and desperate, she ends up at the local bar as she searches for her brother but finds his best friend instead: the friendly-with-everyone-but-her werewolf Griffith.

Griffith was glad when Clem left after all the headaches and heartaches she caused his best friend. But the woman who shows up at his brewery is different from the selfish teenager he used to know, and Griffith finds himself offering not only his help, but his home. As the witches in town search for a way to heal Clem's worsening wound, Griffith becomes her roommate, bodyguard, and maybe something more.

But there's a threat to the town as long as Clem stays, and she'll have to decide between her safety and the ones that she loves...
