Ein interessantes Stück für variable Percussion-Besetzung, die an jeder Musikschule möglich sein sollte. Der Schwierigkeitsgrad der einzelnen Parts ist von leicht bis mittelschwer. Das Wort "Tepe" ist türkisch und bedeutet "Hügel, Anhöhe, Erhebung". So ist auch die Musik: Das Stück beginnt im Pianissimo, steigert sich ganz, ganz langsam zum Forte und kehrt wieder zum Pianissimo zurück. "Tepe wartet mit einer eindrucksvollen Klangwirkung auf und empfiehlt sich damit sowohl als Arbeitsliteratur wie auch als bereicherndes Stück im Konzertprogramm von Musikschulensembles."
