In den letzten Jahren hat nicht zuletzt deshalb der Zusammenhang zwischen sozialer Herkunft, Bildungsentscheidungen, Bildungs- und beruflichem Erfolg eine große wissenschaftliche und mediale Aufmerksamkeit erfahren. Welchen Einfluss haben Herkunftsfamilie und Studium auf die spätere Beschäftigungssituation? Dieser Frage geht die Arbeit von Irene Brickmann Matos Fernandes nach theoretisch durch die Verortung in der Ungleichheitsforschung und empirisch anhand einer quantitativen Absolventenstudie im Fach Soziale Arbeit.
