Daniel Loick zeigt in seinem grundlegenden und weit ausgreifenden Buch, dass und wie die problematische Dominanz des Rechts in bürgerlichen Gesellschaften ethisch deformierte, verzerrte oder defizitäre Formen der Subjektivität und Intersubjektivität erzeugt. Dieser Juridismus lässt sich aber nicht durch eine Überwindung oder Abschaffung des Rechts, sondern nur durch dessen radikale Transformation kurieren - hin zu einem wahrhaft menschlichen, das heißt sozialen Recht.
